Authorization before consequential action
EthosGate is an operational authorization layer for AI-proposed actions. It evaluates an exact ActionEnvelope, applies hard protections before policy or operational scores, opens human review when required, and records the decision in a workspace ledger.
Current scope
- Five outcomes only: ALLOW, MODIFY, QUESTION, ESCALATE, REFUSE.
- No automatic execution from a textual decision.
- Operational score labels remain uncalibrated until evidence-backed validation exists.
